Don't miss the Big Kiss, November 5th

Cheshire East Council is supporting the latest Congleton Careers Event, now renamed THE BIG KISS: a Jobs and Training Open Day. The event is to take place on the 5th November at Congleton Town Hall from 12am to 6pm.Finbarr Dowling, Managing Director of Siemens Standard Drives will be opening the exhibition.

Over 30 organisations will be attending with a mixture of businesses, colleges and statutory organisations attending to give local people a flavour of jobs and career opportunities in our area. Exhibitors include Bentley, Siemens, Triad, E Beech Manufacturing as well as the Royal Navy, Police, Fire Service, and various local colleges and Universities. A number of interactive workshops including CV Writing, Mock Interviews and Essential Life Skills training and Breakout sessions with guest speakers such as professional confidence coach Eilidh Milnes will add to the wealth of information and training opportunities available for visitors on the day.

The BIG KISS is being organised by Congleton Knowledge, Information Sharing and Support, better know as Congleton KISS.

A group of local organisations who meet monthly with a view to connecting employment skills and education at a local level.

The Group includes local businesses, statutory organisations and colleges e.g. Diamond Electronics, ITERO Marketing, TMC Creative, Siemens, Prism, Congleton Learning Partnership, Hammond McNulty, Plus Dane Housing, Cheshire East Lifelong Learning, South Cheshire College, Macclesfield College, Connexions, Jobcentre Plus, Eaton Bank High School, Congleton High School and Congleton Chamber of Commerce.
