Congleton Round Table

Round Table is an international organisation for men aged between 18 and 45 to meet, socialise, and to be of some benefit to the community. We're not just a fund-raising organisation (although we do some of that too) - most of our events are simply enjoyable social occasions

Congleton Round Table is part of the The Association of Round Tables of Great Britain and Ireland (better known as RTBI) which is in turn part of an international group of Round Tables and similar organisations.

What do we Do?

The emphasis of Round Table is to meet other people, to have a varied and fun programme of events, and to contribute to our local community both financially and with practical help. We don't believe anyone should be excluded from membership for financial reasons and so we keep the cost of membership as low as possible. We welcome new members from all walks of life.

Most of our meetings are activities organised by the chairman. These range from wine tastings, quiz nights and go-karting to talks from tours of the Jodrell Bank radio telescope and secret nuclear bunkers. Each activity meeting ends in a meal at a nearby pub or curry house.

Every so often we have formal business meetings where we discuss future events, charitable donations etc. over a meal.

Where does Round Table Meet?

An interesting question just at the moment! We are currently without a regular meeting place and normally meet wherever the evenings activities are going to be held.

When do we meet?

Congleton Round Table normally meets on a the first, third and optionally fifth Tuesdays in the month. Meetings usually start at 7:30 (prompt-ish!).

Something for the ladies?

Congleton Round Table runs many social events with our sister organisation, Ladies Circle. Formed along similar lines to Table, Ladies circle is open to any women aged between 18 and 45 and they get up to a similar range of activities. Table can put you in touch with Circle.
