Paul Bates

Former Rugby player and Enduro motorcycle racer, Paul now does more sedate things like golf ! (wimp) but he still has a passion for the motorcycle and can be seen around town on his 1800 Honda VTX.

Paul is The MD at Congleton Beartown Ltd the business set up for charitable and community causes with Dawn Gibbins MBE Margaret Williamson MBE and Ellen Senior MD at Ravensworth Estates.

He also doubles as the MD at Jigsaw RTM Ltd. who have won awards for sourcing in the home and gift markets and for innovations in food technology. With business connections only going back 10 years in Congleton, Paul still feels like a newcomer. He is Chairman of the Congleton Business Association (traders) .

Paul is also keen on animal welfare and has a rescued Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Max.
