Marton Primary School – Cheshire BearCheshire Bear is covered in Cheshire cheese, The Cheshire cat, Capesthorne Hall, Black & white-Marton church, Jodrell Bank, dairy cows and a red tractor. The children have had great fun painting him, all of our 209 children had a bit to do! Can’t wait to see them all together, it will be really colourful. We are hoping to have our own little launch at school too and get people to sample Cheshire Cheese, some kids have only ever tasted rubber cheddar or cheese spread! We’ll have readings from Alice in Wonderland, and people from Jodrell bank and maybe Lady BD from Capesthorne Hall to officially ‘name’ our bear. Allie Pottinger (Bearmania Artist) |
