The Museum

With so much fascinating history, it’s no wonder Congleton has its own museum with collections of books, photographs and objects about the area. And to make things really interactive, visitors can enjoy touch screen computers, pull out figures with voice-overs describing Congleton history.

Come and see Astbury's ancient log boat, hoards of gold and silver coins and lots about our industrial heritage.

On the first Sunday of each month, from March to November, the Musem holds history walks, complete with afternoon tea.

While there, do visit the souvenir shop!
