Congleton hosts a fabulous variety of annual events. Numerous venues within the town lend themselves as spectacular backdrops for functions, festivals and performances. To name a few, Congleton Park, Gawsworth Hall, Congleton Museum and Congleton Town Hall, hold several exciting occasions and activities throughout the year.

Local sports clubs(e.g Congleton Tennis, Rugby, Football, Hockey Cricket and Bowlng) organise various events and the town is proud to participate in the National Bike Week in June. Music lovers are spoilt for choice with brass band performances within the Park whilst you picnic and even outdoor opera. The Youth Orchestra and Choral Society both perform concerts 3 times a year. There are also many up and coming local bands who perform gigs at Congletons many pubs, clubs and nightspots, these are often reviewed within the Congleton Chronicle. Our very own Daneside Theatre is a venue for many local societies productions, from pantomines to ballet, musicals to gang shows.
