We are proud to announce that Congleton will be featured in the FT Supplement that goes global on 16th September. Congleton has not featured in the FT since 1972    - almost 40 years ago. We are so proud  to put Congleton on the global Map.

2011 is a fantastic year. Just think of some of the achievements:

Bear Mania:

• 3000 children involved
• 1800 children performed in the town hall, watched by 400 parents
• International visitors added Congleton to their itinerary
• Shops report a massive increases in footfall
• Museum has had its busiest year on record
• High street shops confirm that if a bear is sited close to their shop it really makes an impact on trade
• 25,000 trail maps distributed
• Private facebook page ‘the bears of Congleton’ has 1500 followers
• There have been more than 55,000 Bear Mania page views on the Mybeartown website
• Congleton Beartown TV has produced 6 viral "bear videos "
• Bear hospital in town was a fabulous success with BBC coverage
• Proof that business and community can work together in harmony
• 5 TV slots
• 15 radio slots
