The 1st Congleton Jazz and Blues Festival

28th and 29th August

Congleton will be holding its first annual Jazz and Blues festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend with many events being held in different venues throughout the town. Website

Most events will be free of charge and to top off the whole weekend, Congleton's very own Funk  School will be headlining the Town Hall.

The Festival hopes to attract people from all over the UK and it will provide a wide spectrum of jazz and blues, covering everything from soul to funk and from bebop to big band. Workshops

A number of workshops will also be held at various venues on Saturday 28th August and they are completely FREE OF CHARGE. Please see the Workshops page for more details. Jazz and Blues Tasters Jazz and Blues Tasters will take place in the Town Centre on Saturday 28th between 12.30 and 5.00 kicking off with StringFing www.noleftear.org  and including Providence Jug Band with trad jazz on Sunday - times to be confirmed.
