Funding available for schemes and programmes to boost Congleton

Cheshire East Council Visitor Economy Team is seeking applications for their ‘promoting to visitors’ project.

It is a project to help boost tourism and spending within the Cheshire East region, and the council are looking to fund short term projects that will encourage people to spend locally, raise the tourism profile of the area, boost business confidence and support the visitor Economy for Cheshire East.

It’s open to promotional or tourism partnerships/organisations related to a town or its local area. This can be a single organisation, or organisations working in partnership.

Applications are being sought for marketing and promotional campaigns that demonstrate a net benefit to the visitor economy of the area, as well as demonstrating how Cheshire East’s contribution will add value. The application should relate to a planned campaign rather than individual promotional products.

Match funding is necessary and applicants who can demonstrate their commitment to projects by using their own resources (financial or otherwise) will be more favorably considered.
